"This buck is about to stop at the PSB."
Tip #1: TailTRICK Deer Decoys are not ambush products. If you are trying to ambush whitetail deer where they have limited visibility because of thick brush or thick timber, you do not need this product.
Tip #2: TailTRICK Deer Decoys are designed to work where whitetail deer are a ways off in open woods, across food plots or fields and you want them to come closer for a shot opportunity. Bucks see the Swishing Tail of the TailTRICK Deer Decoy, look at it for a moment then move towards the decoy creating a shot opportunity that might not have been available otherwise.
Tip #3: TailTRICK Deer Decoys should be placed in open areas so that when whitetail deer first see them, they are not inside the personal space boundary of the decoy.
Tip #4: All whitetail deer have a personal space boundary (PSB). This is the distance that deer keep between themselves and deer (or deer decoys) they don’t know. This personal space boundary is 20-50 feet long. With some whitetail deer the distance is longer and with others the distance is shorter.
Tip # 5: TailTRICK Deer Decoys were designed to bring whitetail deer up to the decoy’s personal space boundary. Once deer come to the personal space boundary of another whitetail deer (or deer decoy) they will often begin to show signs of aggression, submission or a willingness to socialize. Only the more dominant deer will breech the personal space boundary. Whitetail deer will often walk and feed in a circle around a TailTRICK decoy.
"When the buck stops - take the shot!"
Tip #6: Whitetail deer move closer to the decoy in order to: feed, socialize, dominate or mate. Each deer has his own reasons for moving closer to the decoy.
Tip #7: Always use latex gloves to handle your TailTRICK Deer Decoy in order to keep it scent free.
Tip #8: When the buck stops - take the shot! When whitetail deer approach the PSB of the decoy they often stop and stare. This is a great shot opportunity. Expect It! Plan for it!
